Housed at University at Albany in New York’s capital city, the SUNY Program for Experiential and Entrepreneurial Development (SPEED) is a summer internship-based program that provides students from any SUNY institution the opportunity to gain professional experience as an intern at a START-UP NY company or other local small/medium sized company, organization, or start-up in the Capital Region. Interns learn how to incubate entrepreneurial ideas, and build their professional skills in a cohort experience. SPEED encourages students with an array of expertise and perspectives to experience the heart of New York, while contributing to the growth of START-UP NY companies and other small businesses participating in the program.

Upon acceptance, students must complete this career preparation course to build their professional toolkit.  Completion of this course allows access to the exclusive hosting of SPEED internship opportunities with our employer partners.
